PRESIDENT - North America Campaign Rally in Orlando FL
There are concerts you watch, and then there are concerts that completely pull you into their world. PRESIDENT’s stop at a Sold Out House of Blues Orlando on Tuesday, September 22, was absolutely the latter. Many of us waited about 30-45 minutes in the rain to get in the venue, but every minute was completely worth it! Bringing their North American Campaign 2026 to Orlando, the masked UK outfit turned the House of Blues into something darker, heavier and far more cinematic than a typical rock show. From the moment PRESIDENT took the stage, the anonymity, dramatic lighting and imposing presence made the entire performance feel less like a concert and more like stepping inside the world they’ve created.
And then the music hit. PRESIDENT opened with “Fearless” before tearing through a set that included “Dionysus,” “Destroy Me,” “RAGE,” “Angel Wings,” “dark heaven,” “Mercy,” “This Will Divide Us,” “DOOM LOOP” and “White Devil.” Songs that already sound massive on record became something completely different live. “Destroy Me” carried an incredible amount of weight in the room, while “DOOM LOOP” was one of those moments where the combination of crushing heaviness, atmosphere and the crowd made the song feel almost overwhelming in the best possible way. The vocals were a standout throughout the night. PRESIDENT can move from haunting and vulnerable to absolutely explosive without losing the emotion underneath it. The band doesn't rely on constant crowd banter or traditional rock-star theatrics either. The mystery is part of the performance.
Every movement feels deliberate, and that restraint somehow makes the heavier moments hit even harder. One of the night's biggest surprises was their cover of Deftones’ “Change (In the House of Flies),” which fit PRESIDENT’s dark, atmospheric sound almost perfectly. But the final moments were where everything came together.
After roughly an hour onstage, PRESIDENT closed the night with “In the Name of the Father”, the song that introduced so many people to this strange, mysterious band in the first place. Hearing it live, surrounded by a room full of people screaming it back, was an entirely different experience than hearing it through headphones or on the radio.
That might be the biggest takeaway from PRESIDENT live: you don't fully understand this band until you see the show. The masks and mystery might be what initially grab your attention, but underneath all of it are songs built to become enormous in a live setting. House of Blues Orlando proved that PRESIDENT isn't simply an internet phenomenon surrounded by clever imagery and unanswered questions.
They're building something much bigger. And if the North American Campaign was supposed to win over new citizens, Orlando officially got the message!! ~ Harley Roxx
